Hello and welcome to Bittersweet Symphony, a shrine dedicated to the romantic relationship between the characters, Harry Potter and Cedric Diggory, from the popular series, Harry Potter. Opened since April 18, 2006, this site represents one of our many obsessions when referring to slash fanfiction. The idea of a romance happening between Harry and Cedric is really a fascination and our own imaginative way to make things more interesting. If you’ve read the series then you know that Voldemort murders Cedric in the fourth book of the series, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. His death is really what drives us to write about the pairing and it only forces us to find ways to keep Cedric alive, even if it’s only in our fantasies. We like to call it unfinished business.

This was originally a fansite, but with the excitement dying down the activity seemed to decrease as well. Now, it acts as an informational site so that old and new fans can come and have a place to worship. The site is named Bittersweet Symphony because it fits their situation perfectly. Their time spent is bittersweet because it can’t last forever, but also, neither of them regret it. It’s a song that must come to an end no matter how beautiful it is. The layout is designed around a manip that was created (for recreational purposes) for Two Seekers, the number one livejournal community for Harry and Cedric goodness.
